Posted

Donna Dale Woller, age 87, passed away at her home in Merrill, Wisconsin, on September 25, 2026. Born on February 28, 1939, to Dale and Norma (Klein) Jabas, she spent her entire life living in Merrill.

Donna married her beloved David Harold Woller on August 20, 1956, in Bessemer, Michigan.

A spirited woman with a warm heart, she found pleasure in the simple things: from bowling and camping in her younger days to watching the ducks at Devil's Creek and enjoying fish fries at Schult's Country Inn. Donna truly enjoyed caring for her grandchildren when her children took trips. Baking cookies for them and her dear friend, Alvin “Buck” Tesch.

An active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Merrill, Donna was a member of the Ladies Aid for some years. She had a knack for making people smile, whether through her quick wit during a card game with her family and friends or her love for jigsaw puzzles and reading. You'd often find her happily ironing clothes or sheets for guests, a true testament to her caring nature.

Donna leaves behind a loving family, including her sons, Michael (Cindy) Woller, Jeff (Patti) Woller, and Rick (Kay) Woller; her grandchildren, Elizabeth "Betsy" (Brian) Bellmore, David (Patti) Woller, Jennifer (Russell) Kenny, Christopher (Liz) Woller, Elly (Keith) Wettstein, Ericka (Ryan Janssen) Woller, and Garrett (Mckenzie) Woller; 21 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Nancy Cohrs, Shirley (Wayne Schultz) Woller, and David "Butch" (Bonnie) Jabas; numerous nieces and nephews; and her cherished friend, Alvin "Buck" Tesch.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her loving husband David, their infant son Tommy, and brothers-in-law Phil Cohrs and Ron Woller.

Memorial service will be held October 24, 2026 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Merrill at 11:00 am. Family will begin receiving family at 9:00 am. Pastor Jon Chapa will officiate.

Though she has left us, Donna’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the light she brought to our lives.
