Each year, more than 100 students from Merrill High School participate in District Solo and Ensemble at MHS. During this day, students perform pieces of music ranging in difficulty level in front of judges and clinicians from all around Wisconsin. These judges give students feedback and a rating based on their performance, with a chance for students in the top level (Class A) to move onto the state competition.
This festival is valuable performance experience for the musicians, and they represented the community and the high school very well. Congratulations to all who performed during the day, and to all parent volunteers who made the day possible.
