Oestreich reaches Eagle rank

Boy Scout Troop 503 is proud to announce Robert Oestreich as the newest member to attain the rank of Eagle Scout. Rob earned his Eagle Rank on May 29, 2018.

Rob started scouting in first grade as a Tiger Cub and earned the Arrow of Light before bridging to Boy Scouts. Rob completed the National Youth Leadership Training, Den Chief Training, was inducted into the Order of the Arrow and received his Brotherhood.

Rob served his troop as Senior Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Chaplain and Quartermaster. He enjoyed several High Adventure trips with his troop as well as summer camp at Tesomas.

Rob’s Eagle Scout project was staining and finishing the windows and doors for the Agra Pavilion with the help of other troop members. He has earned 31 merit badges and his gold palm.
Robert is a member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church. He is a senior at Merrill High School and participates in football and track, National Honor Society and Vocal Jayz. He enjoys camping, hunting and ATV riding.

Robert is the son of Bob and Karen Oestreich.
