Woller reaches rank of Eagle Scout

Brett Woller, a member of Boy Scout Troop 599, has earned the rank of Eagle Scout.
Brett joined cub scouts as a Bear scout with Pack 503 at Jefferson Elementary School. While a Cub Scout Brett earned God and Me and God and Family awards of the Lutheran faith. He went on to earn the Arrow of Light award before bridging into Boy Scout Troop 599 of St. John Lutheran Church in February 2009.
Brett has completed National Youth Leadership Training. He was tapped out at the OA call out ceremony at Camp Tesomas at the age of 13. He is a Brotherhood member of Tom Kita Chara Lodge. Brett has served his troop in the following leadership positions: patrol leader, assistant patrol leader, den chief and troop guide. He currently serves as an assistant senior patrol leader, Order of the Arrow representative and is the OA elections chair for the Northwoods District. He has earned 33 merit badges over his scouting career.
For his eagle project, Brett planned, organized and led the construction of a 24’x 28′ outdoor classroom and picnic tables for Kate Goodrich Elementary School.
Brett is a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church. He is a freshman at Merrill High School where he is active with Lincoln County Teen Court, Student Senate and sits on the Social Norms committee. He is a member of the Merrill golf team and bowling team. Brett remains unsure of his plans after high school but knows his future includes a college education and continued involvement in scouting. He is the son of Jim and Kristin Woller.
