Daniel Ralph Kluckman, 60, Merrill, passed away Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
He was born to the late Ralph and Gladys (Radloff) Kluckman on Oct. 18, 1950 in Merrill. Dan married Mary Ann Schwab-Moyer July 21, 2000.
Dan worked as an assemblyman at Hurd Millwork for over 23 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and whether he was on his ATV, motorcycle or tractor, he loved being outdoors. Dan had a special place in his heart for his cat “Rocky” and a special love for dogs, especially his black labs through the years. He truly loved spending time with his family and friends. Dan will always be remembered for his great sense of humor, always joking and teasing.
Survivors include his wife Mary Ann (Moyer) Kluckman; daughter Donna Marie (Ron) Sletten, Elgin, MN; sisters, Corrine (Anthony) Sczygelski, Merrill, and Janet Kluckman, Ft. Atkinson, WI; step-children, Debbie (Todd) Berndt and Timothy (Mary) Moyer, all of Merrill; step-grandchildren, Christa Berndt, Megan Berndt, Phillip Moyer, Andrew Moyer and Catherine Moyer; brother-in-law Roger (Pat) Schwab, Merrill; and many nieces and nephews. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents.
Services were Thursday, Jan. 6, at Waid Funeral Home. The Rev. Scott Gustafson officiated. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Town of Scott. Waid Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.waidfuneral.com.
