Trinity Lutheran School celebrates faith, learning, and community during Lutheran Schools Week

Students, parents, and staff at Trinity Lutheran School in Merrill will gather the week of March 2, 2026, for a joyful celebration of faith, learning, and community during Lutheran Schools Week, a nationwide observance honoring Lutheran education. Rooted in scripture and dedicated to academic excellence, Trinity Lutheran School provides a Christ-centered educational experience for children from 4K through eighth grade.
Guided by a mission that emphasizes academic growth, spiritual development, and leadership grounded in Christian principles, the school strives each day to prepare students not just for academic success but also to be “a service to the church and a witness to the world.”
Throughout Lutheran Schools Week, the halls and classrooms will be bustling with themed activities designed to foster school spirit and reinforce the importance of faith and service. The week will feature dress-up days, classroom challenges, and fellowship events that bring students and families together. Traditions such as “Spirit Day,” creative dress-themed celebrations, and special chapel services remind students of the joy in learning and the strength found through community and faith.
In addition to fun and fellowship, the week will serve as a time for service-oriented reflection. Students participate in activities that encourage kindness, teamwork, and outreach. Events like special breakfasts for students, inter-class competitions, and service projects, like a cereal drive for local food pantries, help connect the student body with the school’s larger mission of servant leadership. This year we welcome Dazzlin’ Dave, Yo-yo Master, to Trinity to help us celebrate, as well.
