The Merrill branch of Associated Bank earned recognition in the company’s annual Veterans Day Display Contest, securing one of six winning spots among all participating branches. This is the fourth consecutive year the Merrill branch has been selected as one of the contest winners for its display.
The contest invited branches within the bank organization to submit photographs of their Veterans Day displays, with all employees voting on their favorites. As a winner, the Merrill branch received a $250 grant to donate to Merrill’s VFW Post 1638.
The local post has organized and installed the display within the branch each year. This year’s exhibit focused on Operation Desert Storm.
