Love the Littles Diaper Drive seeks donations through Valentine’s season

The Diaper Closet at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church is preparing for its third annual Love the Littles Diaper Drive, collecting donations from Feb. 6 through Feb. 23, 2026.
Coordinator Brenda Mueller said the closet has experienced increased demand since opening in July 2023.
“The products are available for infants through adults with no questions asked,” Mueller said. “We depend on donations from community members, organizations, and businesses in order to meet the needs of the people in Merrill.”
Mueller said holding the drive around Valentine’s Day helps restock shelves and raises awareness about the service.

Eleven collection boxes are located throughout Merrill for diaper donations:

• Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church (300 Logan St.)
• Riverside Athletic Club (500 S. Center Ave.)
• St. Stephen’s United Church of Christ (903 E. 2nd St.)
• Polka-Dotted Pie (914 E. Main St.)
• The Chiropractic Wellness Center (109 S. Center St.)
• Westside Market (1504 W. Main St.)
• Ascension Episcopal Church (218 Pier St.)
• Park City Credit Union (501 S. Pine Ridge Ave.)
• Incredible Bank (3210 E. Main St.)
• Sawmill Brewing Company (1110 E.10thSt.)
• Christ United Methodist Church (300 N. Mill St.)
The Diaper Closet especially needs large size diapers, pull-ups, and wipes, organizers said. Monetary donations can also be mailed to Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church (300 Logan St., Merrill) with a note indicating the gift is for the Diaper Closet.
The Diaper Closet is open to the community on the second Tuesday of each month from 3 to 5 p.m. and the fourth Saturday of the month from 9 to 11 a.m. There are no income requirements, and products are available at no cost.
