The Lincoln County Sports Club (LCSC) hosted its 28th annual fundraiser and raffle at the clubhouse Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026, raising more than $15,000 through the support of sponsors, donors, volunteers, and ticket buyers, according to Greg Eichelkraut, a member of the LCSC Board of Directors.
The funds raised will help cover club expenses and support several of the club’s programs, including Hunter Safety classes, a scholarship program, and training for Learn-to-Shoot participants. The club also serves as a training site for concealed carry courses and Department of Natural Resources officer training, Eichelkraut said.
The event featured activities for both children and adults. Youth activities included a pellet gun balloon shoot, big lunker fishing, an archery shoot with 3D targets, and a Teddy Bear Hunt. Adult activities included a Plinko game for prizes and the chance to try out unique firearms under the supervision of the club’s range safety officers. A day-of raffle offered prizes including a gun safe, a Green Bay Packers package, fishing trips, recliners, and a selection of alcohol, among other items. The event also included a general raffle worth more than $6,000 in cash, guns, and gift cards.
Several local and government organizations also set up informational stands at the event to discuss issues with attendees.
