Hop into Spring Craft and Vendor Sale draws shoppers

Posted

The Hop into Spring Craft and Vendor Sale was held this past Saturday, March 21, at four Merrill locations. Les & Jim’s Lincoln Lanes, the Merrill Expo Center, VFW Post 1638, and the Eagles Club all hosted area crafters and vendors showcasing and selling their wares.
From clothing boutiques to Avon dealers to vendors selling children’s books, Pampered Chef, Norwex, Color Street, Pink Zebra scented items, and many other products, area vendors came out to showcase their lines. Shoppers were able to stock up on some of their favorites.
Some of the main attractions at the Hop into Spring event were the handcrafted spring decor and Easter crafts to refresh homes and fill Easter baskets, just in time for the season. Popular items showcased in multiple locations by multiple crafters included 3D digital creations and toys, crocheted stuffed animals, seasonal towels, t-shirts and wooden signs, tumblers, wreaths, and jewelry.
Some of the newer items included wooden bowls with resin features, pottery, yard and garden art, porch art, wildlife paintings on real feathers, and other whimsical decor.
Baked goods including cookies, cupcakes, and sourdough bread were also popular and helped round out a selection of hundreds of different products.
The weather proved perfect for shoppers to get out and easily move from location to location, in sharp contrast to the blizzard conditions in Merrill just six days earlier.
