NAMI Northwoods is offering two free, eight-session, evidence-based education programs for individuals and families impacted by mental health conditions. The classes are designed to provide support, understanding, and practical tools in a welcoming, judgment-free environment.
These free programs are open to anyone in the community seeking understanding, connection, and hope.

NAMI Peer-to-Peer
The Peer-to-Peer class is a free eight-session course for adults living with a mental health condition. Taught by trained facilitators with lived experience, the course helps participants build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and connect with others who truly understand.
The program is a hybrid class, offered in person in Wausau and also virtually via Zoom. The class is scheduled to run on Thursdays from 6-8 p.m. and starts Jan. 22.

NAMI Family-to-Family
The Family-to-Family course is a free, eight-session course for family members, caregivers, and loved ones of individuals living with mental health conditions. Participants gain education, communication tools, and support from others walking a similar path.
