All Aboard Soup Fundraiser

The “All Aboard” Bar recently held a Soup Cook Off fundraiser to benefit Kate Goodrich Elementary School. “We had 12 different soups provided by 11 people,” said owner Seth Clark. “Customers donated $5 and were able to taste all soups and vote on their favorite. Soups were served in disposable muffin tins to assist in the convenience of having so many options.”
Clark doesn’t take credit for the event though. “One of our bartenders had a great idea for a fun event that raised money for a good cause,” Clark said. “We raised $200 that will be donated to a local elementary school to assist with overdrawn lunch accounts.”
“This was a good result for a first event,” he said, “And I would love to see the organizer and participants receive some more recognition and drum up some additional support for future events.”
“Thank you to everyone who brought soups and a special thank you to everyone who donated and tasted the great variety of soups,” Clark said.
