May 12
At 1:47 a.m, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for no tail lamps being illuminated during darkness. During contact with those in the vehicle, a heavy odor of intoxicating beverages was emanating from within the vehicle resulting in the officer to begin an investigation for OWI. Upon completing standardized field sobriety tests with the driver, it was determined that the driver was intoxicated and was subsequently arrested for OWI third offense.

May 13
At 12:10 p.m, an officer began investigating a forgery complaint. The caller advised someone had forged a different amount on a check they had written out. The investigation is ongoing.

At 7:51 p.m, an officer responded to a theft complaint. The caller stated their son’s bike had been stolen. Officers later located the bike and it was taken back to the child. The suspect juvenile is being referred to Social Services for theft.

May 14
At 12:24 p.m, officers responded to the office of Probation and Parole to take a male party into custody for a probation violation. He was transported to the jail.

May 15
At 2:28 p.m, officers were requested by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Probation and Parole to respond to their office and take a male subject into custody for a rules violation. The male subject was taken into custody and transported to the jail.

At 5:00 p.m, an officer made contact with a party for a welfare check and discovered that the party had an active warrant for failure to pay child support. The warrant was confirmed and the party was taken into custody without incident.

May 16
At 2:20 p.m, officers took a report of a bicycle that had been stolen sometime in the previous two days. No known suspects at this time.

At 4:38 p.m, an officer responded and spoke with an individual that wanted report damage done to the door at her residence about three weeks earlier by a male subject. The officer will be following up with the suspect.

At 5:56 p.m, officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of East Main Street for a report of a physical altercation. It was found that a female subject had slapped a male subject in the face. The female subject was taken into custody for domestic disorderly conduct and bail jumping.

At 6:49 p.m, officers were dispatched to a residence on Prospect Street for a report of a physical altercation that was occurring at the residence. Prior to officers arriving on scene, the male suspect had fled from the residence on foot. He was later located and tried running from officers. He was taken into custody and transported to the jail on charges of domestic disorderly conduct, battery, resisting arrest and two counts of bail jumping.
