Dettmering completes three-peat, crowned WVC champ

Russell Dettmering accomplished the three-peat on Friday in the final event of the Wisconsin Valley Conference season at Riveredge Golf Course in Marshfield.
Dettmering shot a 77 (+5) to win the tournament and won his third Wisconsin Valley Conference championship.
The Jays were led by Russell Dettmering who won the tournament by a stroke, making him the Wisconsin Valley Conference Champion for the third straight year. Dettmering shot a 77 (+5) on the par-72 course. Dettmering dominated the conference this year, winning five of the seven conference tournaments, including a 10-stroke victory early in the season at Stevens Point Country Club.
As a team the Jays finished in sixth place for the tournament, with a score of 371. Other Bluejay scores include: Hunter Wallace 87 (+15), Michael Cammack 105 (+33), Dan Pepke 111 (+39) and Michael Casper 102 (+30).
