May 4
At 10:03 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. The female driver displayed signs of impairment and was placed through field sobriety tests, which she failed. The driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated, 1st offense.

May 5
At 5:15 pm, officers responded to a domestic incident. A female party had struck her ex-husband. Officers made contact with the female party who was yelling and cursing. The female was detained. Officers spoke with the male party who advised the female struck him in the arm. The entire incident was recorded on video. The female party was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and was transported to the jail.

At 6:25 pm, officers responded to a domestic incident. The neighbors had called advising they could hear a male party yelling and cursing and he was throwing things around. The neighbors then saw a male party strike a female party in the arm. The male suspect then began yelling and cursing at the caller. Officers arrived on scene and located chairs flipped over. The female advised she had pain when she was struck by the male. The male was arrested for domestic battery and domestic disorderly conduct.

May 6
At 12:00pm a caller reported a vehicle traveling in excess of 60mph near the area of Memorial Dr and East 14th St. A vehicle description and plate were reported. The suspect vehicle was identified and the investigation continues.

At 11:54pm a caller reported seeing a male party looking in parked vehicle in the area of East 3rd and Kyes St. It was reported that the male was observed entering a vehicle in a driveway. Officers located the described person and determined he was in possession of property belonging to others. Additional victims were identified. The police department has been handling an increased amount of vehicle entries. All vehicle entered have been found to have been left unlocked. Please lock your vehicles.

May 7
At 4:23 pm, officers responded to Hollywood Dr and East 8 th St for a report of a motorcycle accident with injuries. Upon arrival officers located two involved motorcycles and both operators had sustained injuries. Both were transported to medical facilities for treatment. The extent of their injuries is fully unknown at this time. The crash investigation is ongoing.

May 8
At 7:19 am, an officer responded to a garbage dumping complaint. The caller had located a purse in his dumpster along with other personal items. Investigation is ongoing.

At 1:20 pm, officers received information that a male party was at a business that had an active warrant for his arrest. Contact was made with the male party and the warrant was confirmed. He was transported to the jail.

May 9
At 9:44 am a caller reported unauthorized charges to her cell phone account. She reported she discovered someone had purchased three cell phones using her account information and the phones were sent to a store in another state. Investigation is ongoing.

At 11:04 am a male was arrested for a probation violation at the request of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.

At 11:27 am a male was cited for possession of THC after having been arrested for a probation violation. The man admitted to his probation agent that he had marijuana and paraphernalia at his residence. The marijuana and paraphernalia were located and seized.

At 3:09 pm a caller reported someone had stolen a handgun from his unlocked vehicle sometime in the past week. The investigation is active.

At 4:10 pm a caller reported a vehicle had been driving recklessly in his neighborhood and had done a “burn-out” on the roadway. An officer located the suspect vehicle parked a short ways away and noted the smell of burned rubber coming from the vehicle. Contact was made at a residence where the officer could smell the odor of marijuana coming from inside the residence. The resident admitted to smoking marijuana with others in the residence prior to officer’s arrival. The resident was cited for possession of THC. The driver of the vehicle was cited for disorderly conduct with a motor vehicle.
