Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office reports

A 28-year old Tomahawk woman was arrested Thursday evening on a bail jumping charge. A deputy made contact with the woman at 11:40 p.m. after he received information she was violating the terms of her bond. The woman had been released from jail one hour prior to the contact, after she was arrested by the Tomahawk Police Department for drinking in violation of her misdemeanor bond. The deputy learned the woman left the jail and walked to a tavern and consumed alcohol. The woman was arrested on charges of bail jumping and obstructing.

A 23 year old Merrill man was cited for an OWI offense Sunday morning. A deputy made contact with the man on Grand Avenue in the City of Merrill after it was reported that he was traveling in the wrong lane of traffic on State Rd 107 in the Town of Rock Falls. The man was cited for a first offense of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

Seven people reported striking deer last week.
