Monday afternoon, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office released the identities of two parties involved in a Thursday morning shooting in the Town of Pine River
According to a press release, the investigation continues into the incident which left 77-year old Barbara Renken deceased as a result of a gunshot wound. 78-year old John Renken remains hospitalized.
At 8:30 a.m. Thursday morning, deputies responded to a residence on Range Line Road in the Town of Pine River for what they believed to be a welfare check. When deputies arrived on scene, Barbara Renken was located in the residence deceased and John Renken was found critically injured from a gunshot wound.
