Musician of the Month for January at PRMS is Dafney Yates. Dafney is a highly dedicated and technically precise musician. Her strong work ethic and persistence towards perfection makes her a natural leader. She began playing trumpet in 6th grade and her ability has only grown through her consistent practice, devotion, and endurance. It is a common occurrence to see and hear Dafney giving guidance and offering help to her fellow musicians. Dafney was recently a member of the Wisconsin Valley Middle Level Honors Band. She participated in local solo/ensemble and will be bringing her class B solo to district solo/ ensemble at the end of February.
