Cedarville University student Bailey Steffen of Merrill, whose major is Biblical Studies, was named to the Cedarville University Dean’s List for Fall 2018.

Local students were among more than 325 graduates honored at Michigan Technological University’s Fall Commencement held on the Houghton, Michigan campus on Dec. 15, 2018. Local graduates include: MERRILL- Ashley Berton, Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Ecology & Mgmt; Stephen Dietrich, Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; Taylor Reed, Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; TOMAHAWK- Victor Ierulli, Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; Justin Lerma, Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

Sara Mae Gliniecki, Merrill, a Psychology major at Iowa State University, was named to the school’s fall 2018 Dean’s List.

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point at Wausau honored more than 90 undergraduate students for attaining high grade point averages during the fall semester of the 2018-2019 academic year. Students receive Chancellor’s Award for fall term

MENOMONIE, Wis. (January 25, 2019) – The following students from the area have received the University of Wisconsin-Stout Chancellor’s Award for the fall 2018 semester.

The award is presented to students who have a grade point average of 3.5 or above.

UW-Stout, Wisconsin’s Polytechnic University, has 50 undergraduate majors and 21 graduate programs, including one doctoral degree. UW-Stout, established in 1891, prides itself on the success of its students in the workplace, with an employment rate at or above 98 percent for recent graduates. The university was awarded the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality award in 2001.

Enrollment for the fall semester was 8,748.

UW-Stout is Wisconsin’s Polytechnic University, with a focus on applied learning, collaboration with business and industry, and career outcomes.
