With extreme cold in the forecast for this weekend, the Family Fun Days Winter Open House scheduled for this Saturday at the Merrill School Forest has been cancelled.
According to School Forest Director Russ Noland, “With forecasted low temperatures near 15-20 below, and windchills reaching into the negative 40 degree range, we are very concerned about frostbite and other similar injuries associated with extremely cold weather conditions. This event will not be rescheduled this winter due to many conflicts.”
