The Merrill Area Public Schools Board of Education will remain intact for another term, as three incumbents will be running without opposition in the April 2019 election.
Incumbents Nubs Ashbeck, Jon Smith and Linda Yingling are up for re-election this spring, and all have filed as candidates for additional three-year terms. With the nomination period closing on Jan. 2, no challengers had come forward to make a bid.
The spring election is slated for April 2.
