Cassy Kremsreiter, daughter of Julie and Ken Kremsreiter of Merrill, was selected PRMS Youth Optimist of the Month for September 2018.
Cassy was nominated by Lisa Pugh; “Cassy stands out as an optimist every day,” Pugh said. “The first thing I notice about Cassy when she walks into the classroom is her bright smile and infectious laugh. She is enthusiastic and cheerful and has a good sense of self. Cassy’s positive attitude is ever-present. She works hard at everything she attempts, even when it is difficult for her. I have seen her struggle with learning tough concepts, and her determination to succeed keeps her going. She accepts suggestions from others and continually strives for improvement. Cassy is involved in multiple activities. She is friendly, helpful to others and well-liked. For these reasons, Cassy is a deserving candidate for Optimist of the Month.
Cassy enjoys playing softball and volleyball in her free time.
