The fifth grade students at Kate Goodrich received a grant from the Merrill Area Community Foundation’s Beyond Crayons and Computers program.
Calling their efforts “Kate Cares,” students will be doing three service projects throughout the year. The fifth graders have already organized a school wide collection of donations for the Food Pantry and Humane Society. They were able to collect 1,133 items to give to the community.
The school and students would like to thank all of the families for donated items.
