Lincoln County veterans groups will participate in a number of Veterans Day ceremonies over the next week.
Tomahawk Area
Nov. 11- Veterans Day Dinner, Redeemer Lutheran Church, 602 Southgate Dr., Tomahawk. Social hour at 3 p.m., dinner at 4 p.m. No charge. RSVP to Kim at 715-612-4206.
Nov. 12- Veterans Day Program. 10:30 a.m., Tomahawk Elementary School, 1048 East King Rd., Tomahawk. Luncheon after the school program will be at River Valley Bank, Tomahawk.

The Merrill area veterans will again be supporting various programs commemorating Veterans Day. Following are the schools and events that veterans and friends of veterans are invited to attend.
Nov. 7, 10 a.m.- Washington School. After the program, all veterans are invited to stay for lunch.
Nov. 8, 9 a.m.- Jefferson School
Nov. 8, 1 p.m.- Kate Goodrich School
Nov. 9, 8:30 a.m.- Prairie River Middle School
Nov. 9, 1:15 and 2:15 p.m., Merrill High School
Nov. 9, 3:30 p.m.- River Valley Bank.
Nov. 11, 11 a.m.- Cenotaph Ceremony. Brats for Vets afterwards at Sawmill Brewing.
Nov, 12, 10:30 a.m.- St. John Lutheran School. Lunch will be served for all veterans, families and friends after the program.
Nov. 12, 2 p.m.- Pine Crest Nursing Home.
Nov. 13, 11:20 a.m.- Trinity Lutheran School.
Nov. 14, 9 a.m.- St. Francis School.
