Christ United Methodist Church will be hosting its 15th annual Mission Store from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4.
The sale will include crafts and food items from SERRV and Ten Thousand Villages both clearing houses which work on behalf of 33 countries. They assist in product design, marketing and business development. Their goal is to enable people in Third World Counties to rebuild their lives and forge a long term sustainable life for themselves and their families.
Holiday decorations, home décor, hand carved items, jewelry, scarves, purses, baskets galore, coffee, soups and toys are just some of the items available at reasonable prices. All items are “Fair Traded.”
Come shop with joy and purpose. Proceeds are returned to the artisans thereby providing income, dignity and hope to these struggling people.
