On September 1, Kelsie Belfiori recorded her 1,000th dig on the Merrill varsity volleyball team. Kelsie is currently over 1,200 digs and leads the team in digs this season with 393 this season.
Not only did Belfiori reach the 1,000 dig mark, she also tied the school record for most aces in a single set with seven, joining Maddix Bonnell, Chey Pyka, Kaylin Byer and Morgan Wardall as the only Merrill players to reach that mark.
