HAVEN (Household Abuse Victims Emergency Network) received surprise visits from employees of Park City Credit Union in Merrill last month.
The employees explained that PCCU is holding “80 Days of Celebration” in honor of the “80 Years of Park City Credit Union.” Part of their celebration is a “Share the Care” event through which each credit union branch did “random acts of kindness” in their community on Sept. 6 & 7.
Various groups of PCCU staff were involved in bringing donations to local organizations and literally passing a baton from group to group during the process. HAVEN is very grateful to receive two generous donations of much-needed pillows, bath towels and wash cloths for our shelter from two groups of credit union employees.
