Powderpuff proceeds support juvenile diabetes research
For the 2018 Homecoming week Merrill High School’s Student Council decided to split the profits from the Powderpuff Game. Half went to MHS’s Food and Clothing Pantry, The Nest, and the other half went to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. One of Merrill High School’s students, Caleb DeJong, is the 2018 Stevens Point Youth Ambassador for this foundation. The student council was happy to support him and this excellent organization that works to find better treatments for type 1 diabetes.
