Merrill High School Junior Dominic Laufenberg has been a medalist in every cross country meet this season. He has lowered his PR (Personal Record) almost 40 seconds this year to 17:22. He qualified and raced in the Indoor State Track meet at UW Whitewater last year as a sophomore. Dominic also competes on the Bluejays track team in the spring. Outside of sports, Dominic has taken piano lessons since first grade and now composes and records his own songs and albums. The son of Jill and Wright Laufenberg, Dominic plans to attend Ripon College and pursue a degree in Political Science following high school graduation.
