Merrill Police reports

August 27
2:08 a.m.- An officer conducted a traffic stop. The driver displayed signs of intoxication and was placed through field sobriety tests. The driver failed and was arrested for operating while intoxicated, 1st offense.
2:26 a.m.- An officer conducted a traffic stop. The K9 was deployed on the vehicle and made a positive alert. The driver had a methamphetamine pipe and baggie containing methamphetamine on his person. The male was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was cited for operating after revocation, 2nd offense, passing in a no passing zone, operating without insurance and unreasonable and imprudent speed.
11:22 p.m.- Officers responded to a residence where two known parties were residing who had active warrants for their arrest. Contact was made with both parties who were taken into custody on the warrants. The female was also in possession of drug paraphernalia and was cited for that violation.

August 28
2:38 p.m.- Officers responded to the Probation and Parole office to take a male party into custody for a probation violation. The male was taken into custody and transported to the jail.

August 29
2:55 a.m.- Officers were dispatched to a residence for a report of a male subject who was in violation of a court order prohibiting contact with the property. Officers responded and the male subject was located. He was taken into custody for violating the terms of two felony bonds and transported to the jail.
3:27 p.m.- An officer took a report of a bicycle that had been stolen from a residence sometime within the past month or so.
