‘Abundance of Books’ sale at the library

Merrill is an awesome community willing to share their love of reading with others through their voluminous donation of books. The library closets are packed to the ceiling and they are swimming in books! In order to make room for more, the Friends of the Library are practically giving the books away. All books (and anything else the Friends of the Library have out on the tables) will only be 25 cents.

The sale is open Friday, Aug. 24, from 9:30 a.m.–5 p.m. in the Community Room at the library. There will be a large selection of adult fiction and non-fiction books available, including CDs and DVDs.

The bargains continue on Saturday, Aug. 25, from 9:30 a.m.–12 p.m. The Friends also have a table outside the Community Room with books that are free.

The Friends of the Library sell books culled from the T.B. Scott Free Library and generous readers who donate used books. The Friends book sale proceeds support library programs and activities.
