Critic’s Choice movie at the library
This month’s Critic’s Choice Movie Event is on Friday, Aug. 10, at 1 p.m. at the T.B. Scott Library.
This month’s movie may sound like a horror film, but it’s not. It is about a boy coming to terms with his mother’s terminal illness. This boy (Lewis MacDougall) is visited by a monstrous yew tree (voiced and motion captured by Liam Leeson) that tells him three stories. By confronting his own nightmare, the boy is able to tell his own story. This movie also stars Sigourney Weaver, Felicity Jones and Toby Kebbell.
Ride the bus to and from this event for free. As always, popcorn and soda are provided free of charge.
