Kenneth C. Hofmann, 91, of Merrill, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018, at home surrounded by his family.
Kenneth was born March 19, 1927, in Merrill, to Fred and Hazel (Cooper) Hofmann. On Dec. 5, 1946, Kenneth married Grace L. Steffeck.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, 4-wheeling, going to the shack and spending time with his family.
Kenneth is survived by four daughters and one son, all of Merrill: Lorene Hofmann, Rita (Ken) Woller, Ann Hofmann, Nancy Walsh and Randall Hofmann. He is further survived by seven grandchildren: Judy (Richard) Ryan, Linda (Louie) VanGroll, Paul (Pam) Schotz, Peter (Heather) Schotz, Lisa (Jeff) Brown, Wayne (Deb) Woller and Jacob Walsh; 17 great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Violet (Richard) Hahn, Gail Jahnke, Phyllis (Tom) Baumann.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his wife and parents; a son Casey; granddaughter Amy Woller Dorgay, sister Vearl (William) Kleinschmidt; two brothers Leonard (Pearl) and Norman (Yvonne) Hofmann and a brother-in-law Jerald Jahnke.
Funeral services were held on Monday, April 30, 2018, at Bell Tower’s Chapel, 1500 O‘Day Street, Merrill. Father Charlie Hoffman officiated.
