Ballot recounts have been called for Lincoln County Board Supervisor Districts 10 and 20. The Board of Canvass will hold the recounts on Monday, April 9, in the Lincoln County Service Center. The recount for District 10 will be held at 9 a.m. and the recount for District 20 will be held at 11 a.m.
In Tuesday’s general election, preliminary vote tallies showed that incumbents in both districts were defeated by a narrow margin. In District 10, incumbent Loretta Baughan fell six votes short of challenger Jeremy Ratliff, 169 to 163.
In District 20, challenger Dora Gorski came out on top over incumbent Carl Vander Sanden by an even slimmer four-vote margin, 163 to 159.
