A 26-year-old Tomahawk man was taken into custody Thursday evening after a traffic stop in the Town of Bradley. A deputy stopped the vehicle for speeding and failing to stop at stop signs. The driver showed signs of impairment and was taken into custody for a first offense of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

A 63-year-old Winnebago County man was arrested Friday morning on a felony traffic charge. The man was jailed on a felony fourth offense charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, he was also cited for reckless driving, failing to stop at a stop sign and having open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.

Two people were injured after a one vehicle crash Friday morning in the Town of Bradley. A cell 911 call reported the crash on US Hwy. 8 west of Tannery Road at 3:21 a.m. A vehicle being operated by a 27-year-old Park Falls man was traveling east on US Hwy. 8 when it went onto the shoulder of the road, over corrected and then rolled over.

A 57-year-old Tomahawk man was arrested Friday morning on a warrant charge. The man turned himself into the Lincoln County Jail just before noon on a warrant for failing to pay child support.

A 25-year-old Irma man was arrested Friday afternoon after the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office requested Lincoln County Deputies attempt to locate him. When he was found, the man was arrested on a charge of criminal damage to property.

A 31-year-old Merrill man was taken into custody Friday evening on a traffic charge. A deputy stopped the vehicle after he observed it crossing the center line. The deputy noted signs of impairment and placed the driver through field sobriety tests. He was arrested for a first offense of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

At least one person was injured after a single vehicle crash Friday night in the Town of Bradley. The crash was reported at 9:38 a.m. on County Rd. Y at Graff Road. The driver, a 16-year-old Tomahawk woman lost control on black ice. A 12-year-old passenger was injured in the crash and transported by Tomahawk EMS to Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital.

Lincoln County Deputies along with Firefighters from the Town of Pine River Fire Department responded to a crash involving a power pole Saturday morning. The crash was reported on State Rd. 64 east of County Rd. X. When located, the crash was just inside of Langlade County. Lincoln County Deputies assisted Langlade Deputies at the scene and Pine River Firefighters stood by for over an hour while the power lines were cleared from the vehicle.

Three people were arrested Saturday night after a deputy found a wanted person in the City of Merrill. During the contact a 30-year-old Irma man provided false identification. Deputies learned his real identity and took him into custody on a felony warrants from the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office for theft and bail jumping. The man was also charged with unauthorized use of identity to avoid penalty. When the K9 Nina indicated the vehicle contained drugs, deputies found methamphetamine and the man was further charged with possession. One of the passengers, a 38-year-old Kronenwetter man, was arrested for possessing methamphetamine paraphernalia, bail jumping and probation violation and a second passenger, a 20-year-old Rhinelander woman, was arrested for obstructing an officer after she lied about the driver’s identity.

Only three people reported striking deer this past week.
