Marjorie and Harold owned a hobby farm, and enjoyed caring for their cattle, as well as the wild animals that they enjoyed seeing in the fields. Marjorie was an avid gardener and had many flower gardens and well as planters full of flowers at her home. She was also a talented cook and baker, and liked to make jams, jellies and breads. Anything that Marjorie could do outdoors, she did. She loved the woods and the beauty of her surroundings. Marjorie would also pick boughs and berries. She was very active in her church and was a woman of strong faith. Marjorie and her sisters would look forward to singing together at family and friends functions, as well as yodeling. Marjorie is remembered by her daughters as a loving, independent person that had a gentle soul. She was always willing to lend a hand. Marjorie was a long time member of Luther Memorial Church in Gleason. She will be sadly missed.
