Lincoln County Snowmobile Trail Report

Lincoln County Snowmobile Trail Conditions as of March 12, 2018
Despite a late-start, the Lincoln County snowmobile trail system has enjoyed a relatively long, enjoyable season compared to years past. However the last days of the season are upon us as Zone 2 and 3 trails are scheduled to close at Noon on Friday, March 16. Zone 1 trails will remain open for the time being. Riders are asked to be aware of “trail closed” and “logging ahead” signs, stay on marked trails only and respect private land. Trails may be rough and have bare spots due to sun exposure and heavy use.

All trails designated as winter ATV trails are closed to ATV use when the temperature is above 28 degrees.

Thank you to the Lincoln County Snowmobile clubs for providing trail condition information this season. Special thanks to all local businesses and private land owners for allowing the county trail system to utilize your property. Without your generosity as well as the tireless efforts area clubs and club members invest in trail maintenance every year, we would not have one of the best trail systems in the Northwoods! While trail conditions vary, riders are reminded to stay on marked trails, stay to the right when traveling on roadways and be mindful for residential areas in regard to speed and sound. Failure to practice simple and courteous etiquette can lead to trail closures.
Most importantly, have fun and ride safe!
