Hunter Safety classes will be offered in the Merrill area in March. Sessions will be presented March 5-10, March 12-17 and March 19-24.
The classroom portion of the first session will be held March 5 and 6 from 6-9 p.m. both nights at Hillside Fellowship Church, 1501 N. Pier St., Merrill. The field day will be held March 10, from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at Lincoln County Sports Club, W5071 Schultz Spur Road, Merrill.
The two subsequent sessions will follow the same schedule, starting March 12 and March 19.
Hunter Safety course chapter reviews in the manual need to be turned in on the first night (Monday), with hands on Tuesday and Saturday. Link for training manual: http://dnr.wi.gov/Volunteer/instructorcorner/documents/huntmanual.pdf.
