VFW Post 1638 and Auxiliary held the Voice of Democracy and Patriot’s Pen Banquet on Saturday, Jan. 27, at Lincoln Lanes.
Patriot’s Pen winners were: 1st place Post & 3rd place District, Christian Weix, 7th grade, Home School; 2nd place, Madison Vandergeest, 7th grade, Prairie River Middle School; 3rd place, Emma Marlowe, 8th grade, St. John Lutheran; 4th place, Dafney Yates, 7th grade, Prairie River Middle School; 5th place, Gaven Reindl, 8th grade, St. Francis Xavier Catholic; 6th place, Erin Kremsreiter, 7th grade, Prairie River Middle School; 7th place, Molly Dallman, 8th grade, St. John Lutheran; 8th place, Olivia Troyer, 7th grade, Prairie River Middle School; 9th place Post & 2nd place District, Evan Perry, 7th grade, Prairie River Middle School; 10th place, Liv Cordova, 7th grade, Prairie River Middle School; 11th place, Arin Dettmering, 7th grade, Trinity Lutheran.
