The City of Merrill Parks & Recreation Department is pleased to be the recipient of a $5,000 donation from the Wisconsin Public Service Foundation. The donation will help with the purchase of new lights at historic Athletic Park this year.
The Merrill Parks & Recreation Department is excited for the light replacement project that will bring efficiency and better light to Merrill’s popular baseball field. Parks & Recreation Director, Dan Wendorf said, “We are very thankful for our community partners at the Wisconsin Public Service Foundation for helping us make this much needed improvement happen, this project is much needed and will have a tremendously positive impact on our landmark baseball field.”
