MHS wrestler Brody Gehrke has enjoyed a stellar start to his senior season in the 138 pound class; pinning each of his opponents in the Bluejay’s first WVC bouts of the year versus Wausau-East and West.
A participant in the Merrill wrestling program since age 5, Brody also competes on the varsity baseball team as a catcher and outfielder, as well as the Boys varsity Cross Country team in the fall.
When away from the ball diamond and wrestling mat, Gehrke enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as time in the outdoors fishing and camping.
Son of Don and Amy Gehrke of Merrill, Brody plans to attend NTC-Wausau following graduation this spring, majoring in Business Management.
