Individuals and businesses in the greater Wausau area recently rallied behind the future Northwoods Veterans Post of Merrill, resulting in a donation of $1,617 turned over to VFW Post 1638 on Thursday afternoon by staff from Wausau-based rock station ‘The Rock’ 94.7.
Key donors included Harley-Davidson of Wausau and Shane Thatcher of Wausau.
