Julane (Juli) Keller, 50, of Merrill passed away at St. Lukes Medical Center in Milwaukee on December 4, 2017.
She was born on September 21, 1967 to Donald and Lois (Brunold) Ackerman and grew up in Grafton, Wi. Juli attended schooll in Grafton WI, where she met many life-long friends. In 1987, Juli had her first child and then married William (Bill) Keller III in 1990 and had two more children. She dedicated her life to her childeren, and loved them with all of her heart. Juli was a very strong, loving woman, had a stubborn attitude, and spunky personality. She could do anything she set her mind to. In 2009 Juli moved to Merrill, WI where she met her significant other of 8 years, Don Backhaus. She enjoyed spending time with him, her children and grandchild (as well as many “adopted” children and grandchildren). She loved the Green Bay Packers. She enjoyed shooting pool and making hats. She is preceded in death by her parents, and survived by her 3 kids, Jason Keller, Cal Keller and Chaz Keller as well as her many “adopted” kids and friends.
Per her request, there will not be a funeral, but the family is holing a memorial service on December 16, 2017 at the Iron Ridge Fire Department from 2 pm until 6 pm.
