MHS junior forward James Pawlicki proved to be driving force in the Bluejack Hockey squad’s near upset of Stevens Point-Pacelli on November 21; scoring 2 of the Merrill-Wausau East co-op team’s three goals over the Cardinals, and an assist to boot.
In addition to Hockey, Pawlicki started this past season on the Bluejay varsity football team as a nose guard and will once again return to the track this spring as a sprinter for the Bluejay Boys varsity track squad.
Aside from sports, James is an active member of the MHS Link Crew as well as a volunteer for local Special Olympics.
In his free-time Pawlicki enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling.
Son of Guy and Trina Pawlicki of Merrill, James currently maintains a 3.5 GPA.
Following graduation next year, James hopes to attend a 4-year university with intent to become a Dental Hygienist.
