Meyer named Athlete of the Week

Despite the Bluejay varsity football team suffering a tough season-ending 35-7 loss at the hands of Rice Lake on October 20, senior Defensive End Isaac Meyer made his final game as a Bluejay one to remember.
Meyer finished the night at the top of the Merrill defensive rap sheet; tallying 6 solo hits, a tackle for loss and a sack.

While his high school football tenure has run its course, Isaac will return to Jay Stadium in the spring as a fourth-year member of the Bluejay Boys varsity track team; competing in the hurdle events.
A member of the MHS National Honor Society, Meyer enjoys spending time outdoors with family friends, especially hunting.

Son of Brenda and Jason Meyer of Merrill, Isaac currently maintains a 3.98 GPA.
Following graduation this spring, Isaac is considering attending either UW-Madison or UW-Stout, majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
