The following students from Merrill have been named to the Dean’s List at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for the Spring 2017 semester: Katherine Harvey, Nursing Undergraduate, Senior; Michael Koppelman, Eng & Comp Sci Undergrad, Senior.
Mitchell Schauer, a native of Tomahawk, WI, graduate of Tomahawk and member of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Football team, was one of 385 Warhawk student-athletes representing all 20 of the institution’s varsity sport programs were named to the 2016-17 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Honor Roll, which was announced Monday, July 31. Schauer, a junior at UW-Whitewater, is majoring in Entrepreneurship.
Hunter Dowds, son of Matthew and Nicala Dowds, Merrill, has been named to Lawrence University’s 2016-17 dean’s list for maintaining a minimum 3.4 cumulative grade point average for the entire academic year. He is a 2015 graduate of Merrill Senior High School.
