January 23
8:00 p.m.- An officer responded to a shoplifting complaint. The employee observed a group of juveniles in the store and one was observed placing items in a purse and left without purchasing the items. The female juveniles were identified from the video footage and were spoken to. One admitted to stealing items and turned over the items stolen. The juvenile will be referred to Social Services.
January 24
10:26 a.m.- Officers responded to a student who was out of control. The student was actively damaging property when officers arrived on scene. The student resisted officers and was detained. The student is being referred for several offenses.
5:04 p.m.- Officers responded to a shoplifting complaint. A female party had placed an item in her pocket and did not pay for it. Another item was located in her purse that was not purchased. The female was cited for retail theft.
9:03 p.m.- Officers responded to a fight involving three to four male parties. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with parties involved who were not actively fighting and denied any altercation took place. One male was found to have an active warrant for his arrest. The male was arrested and transported to the jail.
January 26
10:21 a.m.- Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of East First Street to take a male subject into custody for a probation violation. The male subject was arrested and transported to the jail.
1:56 p.m.- Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of East First Street to take a male subject into custody for a probation violation. The male subject was arrested and transported to the jail.
5:17 p.m.- Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of East First Street for a report of a domestic disturbance that was taking place. As a result of the investigation, a male subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and taken to the jail.
9:59 p.m.- Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Prospect Street for a report of a domestic disturbance. Officers determined that the male subject had thrown the female party against the wall and had also punched a hole in the wall. The male subject was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and battery, domestic related.
