On a 10-0 game in favor of the Eagles, Tomahawk was defeated a second time this week, on Dec. 1.
Shawn Dirkx made a total of 32 saves for the Hatchets. The Pines goalies combined for nine saves; they didn’t have any goals allowed.
“It was a rough outing for many reasons tonight. We didn’t have our best game, and we potentially lost one player for the rest of the season, and a few others banged up. We are a better team than we showed tonight. All we can do from here is work on all aspects of our game, let tonight be in the past, and change what happens in the future. We will be better as the season moves along!” said Coach Chris Bembinster.
