Riiser Energy Pride Pump donates funds to Jay Stadium
Riiser Energy donated $1,178.15 to the Jay Stadium renovation project through its R-Store Pride Pump. Typically, Riiser donates 2¢ per gallon pumped through their Pride Pump to Merrill Area Public Schools. In early July, Riiser Energy and the R-Store on Center Avenue in Merrill made a commitment for August, September and October to donate an additional 2¢ per gallon pumped through their R-Store Pride Pump for the renovation of Jay Stadium.
The commitment has paid off for the renovation. “A special thank you to Riiser Energy as the Pride Pump resulted in a donation of $1,178.15 during the three month promotion! We greatly appreciate the support you have provided our Jay Stadium project as a committed community partner!” stated Dr. John Sample, Superintendent of Merrill Area Public Schools.
“We look forward to the many years of enjoyment that the newly renovated stadium will bring to our students and community,” stated Jay Wicke, Jay Stadium Renovation Fundraising Committee. “Riiser Energy is thrilled they could contribute to the project in such a big way. They look forward to their ongoing relationship with Merrill Area Public Schools through the R-Store Pride Pump program.”
