Merrill Police reports

November 7
2:40 p.m.- An officer arrested a male for a probation violation and brought him to the jail.
8:15 p.m.- Officers responded to an address in the 1800 block of East Main Street. As a result, a male was arrested for a probation violation and brought to the jail.

November 9
5:34 p.m.- A caller reported someone entered his garage and stole several items.
11:04 p.m.- A caller reported she spoke to her sister who had informed her that her son had threatened her with a power drill. Officers made contact with the woman who reported her adult son had become upset over a dispute over medications. The son had threatened her with a knife as well as a power drill. He had fled the residence prior to officers’ arrival. He is facing numerous charges once he is located.

November 10
9:34 a.m.- An officer responded to a theft complaint. The caller advised they had a tool box and numerous tools stolen from their vehicle. Another party who was parked in the same area also had items stolen from their vehicle. Investigation is ongoing.
3:45 p.m.- An officer responded to a criminal damage to property complaint. The caller stated his ex-girlfriend came to his house and damaged items in his kitchen. Contact was made with the ex-girlfriend who admitted to the property damage. The female was arrested for criminal damage to property.

November 11
8:16 p.m.- An officer investigated a vehicle entry that occurred in the parking lot across from the basketball court on Third Street. The investigation continues.

November 12
3:31 p.m.- A party turned over property that was found in the 1800 block of East Main Street. The property was returned to the owner and it was found that the owner’s vehicle had been broken into the previous night in the 2000 block of East Main Street.
7:46 p.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle on Blaine Street. During the stop, the passenger attempted to flee, but was detained. The male passenger gave the officer false identifying information and was found to have active warrants for his arrest. The male was arrested and brought to the jail for the active warrants. He was also charged with Unauthorized Use of a Person’s Identifying Information.

November 13
12:23 a.m.- An officer investigated a harassment complaint. The investigation revealed that there was a lengthy recent history of harassment from a male party to the victim. As a result, the male suspect was arrested and brought to jail for Disorderly Conduct.
3:55 a.m.- Officers investigated a domestic disturbance. As a result, a male suspect will face domestic related charges.
12 p.m.- A male was arrested and brought to jail for a Probation Violation.
